When people think about landing their next paying client, they think about following a concrete plan. I'm Personally an advocate of setting up a plan before making any move, this is to avoid any fatal error. But "Desperate times call for desperate measure" if you know what i mean.😁
Most times when business owners create their business plan, they create them to suit people outside their network and then they start to struggle with getting clients and end up blaming it on innocent Facebook Ads & social media algorithm.
Don't get me wrong, Its a good thing to start with thinking global But then I begin to wonder, how do you intend to meet the needs of the outside world or global audience when you've not been able to meet the needs of your immediate circle.
Most of the gigs I've had as an events manager and a graphics/UIUX Designer are from within my circle and these gigs has brought in more clients that I've deliberately converted to being part of my circle.
The major secret is to first create an enticing offer (a promo sale, slashed price deal or free delivery of products) and asking them for their personal review after delivery.
The truth is that When people within your circle benefit from your offers, they automatically become your first hand preachers and then the tendency for them to send positive review and invite others to patronize you becomes very high. But in all you do, don't forget to "ask them for it".
"GO HARD ON ASKING FOR REVIEWS" don't just wait for it, ask them for it.
The best form of advertisement is word of mouth from an existing customer. Your circle ends up showing new customers how its done by sending in their own reviews.
When they successfully send their review, draft a message to appreciate them and offer another discount on their next purchase, when they purchase more items than their previous purchase as the case may be.
